Do you do drug testing?

No, BEAP does not conduct drug testing. However, we can refer you to several local companies that are licensed to do this work.

Do you provide psychotropic medication?

A consulting psychiatrist is available for medication consultation, but this service is very limited and will deplete BEAP free sessions at a ratio of 2:1. If this type of service is required, clients will be referred to appropriate resources outside of BEAP to assist in the management of these psychotropic medications.

Will you alert the police if I tell you that I have been using illegal drugs?

Except for very rare cases (which will be explained to you), we do not alert the police regarding clients receiving treatment for substance abuse. If a notification is required by law, you will be informed and required to sign a release of information.
